Something very similar happened to me - I'm a Waitrose delivery driver. Car comes flying down a single carraige way lane. I have to swerve to get out of the way, and I got stuck in the bank.
lol take large blue paper roll out with next time and wedge it under the wheels gives you extra traction and also it twats like you give drivers extra drops on their run lol!

it was nothing to do with it been an auto-matic its was the ARS when the wheels got in the mud the ARS stoped the wheels spining that got me stuck if i never had ARS i would never got stuck in the first place
