  • Lol at the price. I don't think so. I'll just get another laptop.

  • how match is this?

  • this is a cool product but for the moment it is too pricey and the version with thunderbolt is going to be even more expensive, like a 1000 bucks. At this price the best option is to simply get a new laptop.

  • @eMURsonAin

It wil not work if you use an expresscard-to-USB adapter.

  • Will this work if you dont have a express card slot and you use a express card USB adapter??

  • where can i get one from?

  • @xIBoLTx

Magma(dot)com is where you can buy it form

  • $700+ are you kidding me? I really think you could sell a ton of these if the price wasn't so ridiculous. There are many people that want to use PCIx cards with their laptops, but not if it requires basically the price of a new laptop..

  • WHERE CAN I BUY ?

  • @BaxThiaN96

Magma(dot)com is where you can buy it form

  • Can you run that through the laptop, or do you have to have a monitor to use it???

  • 749 usd for this? OMG

  • its taken me a few minutes to get it, but i know that tune!! its the 'hidden' microsoft xp song!

  • how much do they cost?

  • Wait... Fuck... I don't have an ExpressCard slot or what ever... Any alternatives? I'm using the latest Acer Aspire One.

  • @PIKACHU49386 i have the same PC, it sucks that why im trying to find an alternet than to buying this!

  • @PIKACHU49386 if you have a cardbus port, you can get an expresscard adapter, but other than that no.

  • can i use it alone w/o an external monitor just for my laptop??

  • can i use it alone coz i want to use for gaming purpose not to double my desktop???

  • Imagine putting a 5970 in a thing like that! (a bigger one ofc)

  • How much money does it take for you guys to produce a set? 800 a pop, jeez.

  • what if your laptop doesn't have an expresscard slot?

  • no room for 5970

  • lol

  • $729!!!

COME ON! the price is ridiculous!!

I can buy a new laptop with that price. Why it's so expensive ??

  • @designernasser yea i know what ya mean.

  • expensive box....

  • If you PCIE Card requires external power you can use an external Power Supply

  • The one on the video is a half-sized expressbox. We do have a full-sized ( 5cock long if you will) available.

  • do you have to use a monitor please help thanks

  • Yes, you have to use xternal monitor. if you are using a video card. The expressBox is not just for video card it can be used with audio, framegrabber, Ethernet, USB, Firewire, RAID or any PCIE cards.

  • nice !!

  • sweet deal !!! I want one !! doesnt have dual monitor ports though !?

  • too expensive

  • No air ventilation would be dangerous for a videocard.

  • There are air ventilations, located on both side panels

  • There are air ventilation on both sides of the unit.

  • i need some help.. a have a GeForce 9500 PCI EXPRESS 1gb/128bit DDR2 DVI + CRT + HDMI oneboard

SLY Ready technology. I tryed to instal in my computer, when i turned on, the pc worked, but there was no signal to the monitor... Nothing apeared. This video card only works on PCIE? plz help me

  • @gtabrpaulo ofc it only works on pcie x16. you cant force it in an AGP slot without ruining the card.

  • how the fuck could they jack up the price on this thing to around $800-$900 when they know that people can simply buy desktops starting at $300. Even for dual monitor purposes, ive seen cheaper.

  • lol

  • How does the GPU actually get the power?Mine needs atleast 500w and a laptop cant give it to you!

  • This particular model can only provide up to 45 watt of power. Video card that requires more than 45 Watt won't work in this unit

  • it sure is bulky... eheh..

hope to try XG station or Luxium instead...

  • drab t shirt..how did you build your own?

  • OMG I MUST GET THIS!!

  • what game was this song on???

  • Dammit! Now I must know too

  • lol its not on a game

its from windows xp as you set it up the time and date and name etc

  • how do u make one?

  • how?

  • How?

  • wats the greatest VIdeo cArd can u put?

  • well this work with the black magic intensity pro?

  • The new ExpressBox 4 works with the black magic intensity pro?

  • i have no idea. which is why im asking. lol

  • Yes, the ExpressBox4 works with the black magic intensity pro. But not the ExpressBoxPro 1

  • it looks like a wii

  • The new ExpressBox2 and ExpressBox4 that are scheduled to come out this year from Magma will be able to support high end graphics cards (like PCI-E 2.0 x16)

  • Do they support high end graphic cars like PCI-E 2.0 x16

  • The new ExpressBox2 and ExpressBox4 that are scheduled to come out this year from Magma will be able to support high end graphics cards (like PCI-E 2.0 x16)

  • how much is it?

  • do u have to get external moniter? plz repley

  • You have to install an external video card in this ExpressBox. This will allow you to connect with your external monitors.

  • Which one will you buy? Magma ExpressBox or ASUS XG Station?

If Magma lower the price, they will win the market!!!!!

  • cool.. where can i buy this?

  • Dude these things are $700 no way im buying one!!!

  • except lets see you try to fit an 8800 in there... not all cards are going to fit in there.

  • Magma ExpressBox1 is designed for "single-width" graphics cards that require no more than 55 watts of power.

    COMING SOON!!

ExpressBox1 Wide is the solution for "Double-wide" graphics cards (i.e 8800) or cards that require auxiliary power.

Magma ExpressBox1 Wide (Model EB1FW) weighs only 6 pounds and supports double-width cards up to 12.283 inches long". Connects to desktop computers through a low profile x8 PCI Express card.
