  • i still support Pickens plan even though my state government leaders are now harassing me through my job through my public stance.

change isn't easy..but we have to change

  • Pickens wants to control the market and take tax payer money!!

its FREE to grow HEMP... thats why it illegal!!

Keep sleeping while these people rob US blind with their "plans" or make the choice to educate yourself on FACTS (i.e. marijuana and industrial hemp are not the same and NO ONE has EVER DIED from an overdosed of marijuana)

Let farmers grow: Fuel, Fiber, Paper, Food and Medicine

a good place to learn more: GOOGLE "Jack Herer"

  • What about the investors that own the current NG generator facilities? I'm sure there is a way to work them into the equation without having to rip them off. The offer would have to be lucrative; 22% is a HUGE and powerful obstacle.

  • "At current oil prices, we will send $700 billion dollars out of the country this year alone . . . Projected over the next 10 years the cost will be $10 trillion — it will be the greatest transfer of wealth in the history of mankind." - T Boone Pickens

  • Suggested Pickens Plan business card: 1. Cut imports by 38 percent 2. Reduce import costs by $300 BILLION per year ($3,000 per family = $90,909 10 yrs) 3. Wind electric power 4. Vehicles powered by natural gas 5. Legislation required voter support 6. Legislation requires voter contact their representatives Side B: 1. Contact Senators: senate gov 2. Contact Congress: house gov 3. T. Boone Pickens: pickensplan com 4. Email all your friends 5. Post on your blogs 6. Hand to friends
  • Are the GE windmills made in the US?

  • JOIN PICKENSpLAN AND FIND OUT

  • T. Boone Pickens for Secretary of Energy

  • DID YOU JOIN THE PICKENSpLAN?

  • American's for America

  • This is one of the Biggest, most immediate threats to America we face right now. It effects each and everyone of us. It won't be that much longer before we will hear of people freezing to death in their homes or starving because of food prices. Mr. Pickens is right. . .We need Leadership. This subject is NOT getting the attention it should. One more $1 or $2 per gallon. It is exceptionally elevated each time. We ARE, ALL, being held hostage by these foreigners! We must cut them off now!

  • Obama for President

    T. Boone Pickens for Secretary of Energy

  • My congratulations to you for standing up and providing a concrete and DOABLE plan. It's amazing that our politicians don't embrace this. As you said in the video, this will not solve all our energy needs but it will provide us with 10 years or more of time. Personally, I would use the Natural Gas to convert homes in the Northeast from oil, which could then be used for Diesel fuel.

  • our politician have embraced it, Inhofe sponsored a couple bills, called the "Drive America on Natural Gas Act" and the "American Affordable Fuels Acts" just sponsored last week,,, find your senators, congressmen and governors numbers or emails here and contact them... tell them to support it if they want your vote in November!

  • I'm on board....how do we put this talk to action? how can we be a part of all this besides the buzz?

  • I am on board with Mr. Pickens-He is ready to take action! IF using Natural Gas for a decade will allow us to come up with other alternatives then I say "Let's give it a shot"! Let us also elect a President who is willing to go after other alternatives! We need someone who will try all alternatives to make us energy independent! LET'S DO IT ALL! WE ARE AMERICANS AND WE HAVE THE INTELLIGENCE TO GET THIS DONE! DO NOT ELECT DUE TO RACE, HATRED OF WAR OR BUSH-VOTE FOR AMERICA-THINK ISSUES! SAVE US!

  • Everyone really needs to stand up and let it be known that as Americans we stand together and have done so for 232 years. The oil nations are beating us down financially, they don't care about Americans they want to destroy us,and they are beating us by doing what they are doing.Screw there OIL.Can't people see thru this .Its time!We have all the technology, don't let anyone B---S--- us anymore. We are losing $700 BILLION that should be staying here in the USA.SUPPORT THE CAUSE for the USA.

  • Also, look at the GM's hybrid Volt. 40 miles on electric power, 640 miles range, 0-60 mph in 5.8 seconds, 120 mph top speed. GM is planning on pricing it at under $30,000.00. In a typical day, most Americans wouldn't use gasoline.

  • Go T. Boone Pickens! Finally, a man that I feel I can stand behind and support, and who's real! I have lost faith in the US government and the candidates to do anything to make real change. They're a bunch of talkers! T. Boone Pickens is taking action!

  • at last, a true strategy, not just a non-commital head-nod by a candidate.now we have a strategy for the future. but we can start today to nibble away at oil consumption. we can clean out our cars of dead weight.plan a trip and route to get all the errands done at one time. trucking companies can put more trailers on a rail car and off the highway. push your city for light rail NOW. we depend on the car because we don't have an alternative. change the world by effecting change where you live.

  • Mr. Boone has almost the same ideas as Senator Obamaz energy policy. The success of this plan will partially be determined by the POTUS and involvement of the American people. Let us put Senator Obama into office and we cruise into the right direction as far as energy policy is concerned.

  • I support T. Boone Pickens. I'll never vote for Obama or probally any other Democrat.

Lets face it, no President is gonna spend alot of time on Energy. Let T. Boone Pickens deal with that.

Plus if he was in office, all he would do would be Boost are Taxes over the limit and get rid of are guns.

  • Thank goodness! At last, the real discussion begins! Mr. Pickens and his plan is worth the time. Who would have thought an oil man would have taken the energy crisis this seriously and lead us in another direction! I'm a subscriber.

  • I think there is some question as to whether LNG is the way to go for transportation on your $5B Bond Proposal due to 2 reasons (can only fit 1 here):

    1. Natural gas is a finite resource just like crude oil and therefore this is still not a long-term solution even though we have twice the oil reserves in the USA. I'm from CA and here we get 30% of our electricity from it meaning that gas for transportation would drive utility rates up dramatically until 10 years+ when wind is able to catch up!

  • Natural gas may finite, but biogas[Indias program],coal gas[nothern heating gas from coal], or wood gas[switchgrass ethanol etc] are all offshuts available even pipeable.

  • T. Boone Pickens giving a wartime sense of urgency to the business and politics of developing sound energy policy. Guess what. He's right. But even if he's not, it's better to do something, than nothing. Let's get off the beach and down to the task at hand. Wind power and natural gas transportation sounds like a good start. Save a billion here and a billion there. Pretty soon you're talking real money.
