@Shaunakde around 39$ plus any custom duty that is applicable in india.We had to to pay 2000PKR as custom duty. one of my friend told me about a pakistani site which sells ultrasonic distance sensors for about 1400 PKR i will try and post its address by tomorrow.

@tahasamad28 Thanks for your reply. I am actually looking to buy Parallax's Propeller MCU. But I think I will bypass this idea. I really dont want to deal with custom officials here. (They are pathetic in India)

Anyway, congrats of a beautiful project. Its really well done. I will be going into my final year next year. I hope I will be able to build something even half as good.

PS: I absolutely hate this policy of imposing custom duty on small parts. Esp. for non commercial use.
