I'm nowhere near this guy's skill level but he doesn't impress me. Like so many other guitarists who have come and gone this dude has speed, he has execution, he has precision but he doesn't have feeling. The guy overplays. His solos are one giant blast of notes with no emotion or expression. Not impressed at all.

@dmarkj22 I disagree, his solos in A Disconcerting Amalgam are very tasteful with a nice mix of jazz fusion and his more southern roots. Sure some of his youtube videos are what you described though.

it's easy to see from someone who has been playing 20+ years....this kid has a command of the instrument that those players have...Andy is unreal.
