@maden199604 Yes you could do it with AP, your best bet would be to make a booster from ammonium nitrate and acetone peroxide - AP/AN , and detonate that with the straight AP, with the AP/AN booster inside your main ANFO charge. Thanks
I highly doubt this will work to completely detonate the vaselate, im pretty certain you could use this to activate a booster of high cap sensitivity, like ETN. But I'd suggest not, as armstrong's is incredibly unstable - a more appropriate choice would be something a like HMTD, as it is more powerful and more stable than armstrong's mix. But always take great caution when using primaries(especially peroxides).
