Ive lived in Bradford all my life and im supposed to be bringing my daughter up in this, I havent been into the city centre for nearly 6 months because theres nothing there and its a disgrace.
I cant wait until the middle of next year when we're leaving, the whole city is now a disgrace and I get embaressed to tell people I live here. BCR are complete and utter wankers.
This video is brilliant I used to work in Bradford at the Redcats main office started in 2003 and left 2008 I used to see the crater all the time it seems like bradford regeneration has gone the same way barnsleys has - I live in barnsley. Lots of fancy plans but no substance look at the remaking barnsley video - the council here had some even crazier ideas all with huge amounts of cash thrown at them and when it comes down to putting a spade in the ground. Nothing. Whats happening now?
Everybody needs to realise that people do not go into the public sector because they are any good - they go into the public sector because of the opportunity for avoiding accountability - and then they hop from the last big thing to the next big thing, raking in - your - money at every opportunity and rarely achieving anything.
If I had the money I would buy the real estate off of BCR / Wastefield and make something for the people of Bradford with it.

They demolished beautiful buildings and replaced them with glass fronted trendy rubbish. Its time we the people decided who we should vote into the City Hall and dump the idiots we have there now and replace them with someone who WILL listen to what we the voters want.
Nice video. I personnaly dont share the view that we need to be concerned about public money being used to build the park. Bradford's whole problem is that it consistently fails to get its fair share of investment from the public purse. If I am right, then that begs the question as to why the city is constantly ignored. Sadly I think we all know the reason why.
what these people dont get is THIS IS BRADFORD! if they get all this center regeneration done it will all go down hill people will vandalize it and it will become disused after a few years! Its fine as it is now!

How can this council get away with this waste of public money?
This fight must now be taken to central government, and national press!
The councillors are ruining our once beautiful city in to something that resembles a middle eastern bomb site.
How long was it before Rawson Market rebuilt? NEVER !!!!!
We now have no meat market as we were promised and an empty Temporary building that still stands 10 years on!
