Besides there is over 250,000 public workers employed by the government making it the largest public sector (per capita) in the world. The CIA world factbook averages less than 50,000 public workers per state. (even Texas, being the largest.) They public sector consumes 75% of the total state budget!!

His plan to balance the budget has been impressive and the new credit he has restored for the island is substantial. The huge budget deficit has been reduced significantly; as a percentage of revenues it has dropped from nearly 44% to less than 11%. about the hiring,uninformed people always try to link people and make their own connections so they can prove a point. the man is doing his job very well!

The point isn't reducing the budget the point is reducing the budget deficit! you think is bad having big budgets?? Obviously it is not, thanks to his policies we can now get a large budget due to our new credit and have excellent bonds that are no longer worthless. He reduced the deficit spending like it has never been done. Many US governors are trying to copy his policies now.
