@Leonisgoed just search the web for carburetor settings to this boat/engine.. But you you need patience to adjust the carburetor,it`s very sensitiv on the adjustments..especially here in norway because of the high oxygen percentage in the air,but my brother who filmed this run worked it all out,and now it runs perfectly..

nice boat she runs good ...i am building one similar to yours i build them from scratch i dont buy ready to run boats . mine is modeled after the rio 51 . if you dont mind me asking what was your carb settings in this video

Rio 51's love it, my mate has one and we thrash it in slightly smaller chop than that but cut full lock turns flat out...never flipped. i dont know why all the 'gurus' bag them out.
That has to be the best Rio vid with stock engine run. The best I got out of the BT28 was 34 MPH. When you are ready, put a stock Zenoah 260 PUM with after market pipe and WHH RMB7016 3 Blade prop. You will love it.

How fast where the winds, mine had a hard time with 35 mph gusts at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle.
