Who's going to have to die before this event has some sort of control to it? The mayor? Someone rich and important. I think this event is nothing more then a public nuisance, everyone involved is nothing more then a bigot.
In a time of such pollution to the world, clogging traffic for hours, causing delays for 10 seconds of fame is intolerable waste of energy. You partake in this event for what reason? To create a car free world on the streets where you can ride freely? Utterly ignorant.
My boyfriend and his dad HAD to idle while some jerks from critical mass blocked the intersection with their bikes. People do have to idle when you have jerks riding their bikes through red lights and everything else. Or would you rather we just run everyone over?
