  • i met rick about a month ago...one of the nicest guys i have ever met. He was at a show where i was playing to watch a friend of his and saw us and we just hit it off. we opened for one of his Midway cafe shows the other night, great musician

  • This is a great song. Sorry Rick didn't do you, krelbar. Bob Hope ignored me once, so I feel your pain.

  • We need the rest of the songs uploaded please!!! What was that place in Brockton called ....saw these guys and the Ramones there!! Lots O coke and dancing on the tables......and The LInes!! ahahahaha.....

  • Opened for Rick Berlin on a couple of occasions in 1989-1990. Prima Donna.

Shuts off half the PA for the opening bands.

Backstage, I happened to walk by while he was sitting reading a novel. He looked at me, so I gave him a "Hey, how's it going?" Didn't change expression and said pretty tersely "Can't you see I'm reading?"

Fucking Prima Donna. He was the one who chose to make eye contact with me while i was walking by. He WASNT reading. Maybe he's just gay and checking me out...UGH.

  • I hate getting old.... Chet, we'll see you on the other side...

  • I'm sad to hear about Chet passing away- Randy M

  • Chet was a great guy, a fine musician -- fab as bass player ... admired, respected, well-loved by many fans, friends, family. Please have a thought, a prayer, for peace for his wife and others left behind.

  • Berlin Airlift bassist Chet Cahill passed away on Friday, January 16th, 2009. He was listening to music, overlooking his farm. His humor and wit will be missed.

  • Berlin Airlift was amazing. I very much miss these guys. I designed the sound system they would rent regularly so I got to see a lot of their shows. I started as part of the sound company but rapidly became a fan.

  • Thanks for uploading this! I had such a crush on Steve Perry when he worked at Wurltizer on Newbery street, and loved Berlin Airlift also.

  • I can't beleive you have such great Boston stuff. Man, does this bring back memories of the Channel, The Rat, Bunratty's, Jack's, etc. I remember these bands well. The Orbits? Holy shit, I remember dancing with my really hot girlfriend on the dance floor at The Rat to them one night, when the singer's mic stand started to fall over and I caught it. He gave me a thumbs-up and a great solo and I thought I was friggin King of the World! Thatnx for posting these!

  • Lots of Coke up da nose with these guys.

  • I cannot download this and very much want to see it.

  • Amazing video - Thanks for uploading.

Berlin Airlift was one of the best hard pop band in the 80's and their album on Handshake was an underrated gem.

  • Thanks for uploading this clip - it brings back good memories. I use to see this band all the time when it was called "Luna" at Jaspers in Somerville, MA and at Headliners North in Nashua, NH. Please upload more clips of Berlin Airlift if you can.
