thought the bus driver did ok considering. he just left it to late to correct the steering when the back of the bus swung to the left i was pissing myself at the guys in the red truck though what were they trying to do? lol.
good job filming em but it all could have been over and done in 10 mins if they had 1 small silly bit of kit and it helps no end..?...................................an old peace of carpet to gain traction.costs nothing and works..lol
I live in Alberta, Canada. I think the bus driver and crew did a brilliant job of getting that double decker bus (with no winter tires) unstuck with the limited manpower and supplies that they had. They should get rewarded by more then a cup of tea...

Just shows that people don't have a clue how to drive in adverse conditions. The last thing you do in snow is allow your wheels to spin - it just melts the snow and builds up a layer of ice under the wheels.
full credit to the staff of Brighton and Hove bus company for their efforts!! Its easy to mock but I wouldn't want to try getting a double decker up that road.
@grahamjohnstokes As I have said before, top marks to the guys . The driver did a good job in poor conditions - and stayed with his bus for hours in the bitter cold.
@grahamjohnstokes Great job I have driven a PCV and have driven double deckers in the snow it's no fun with an auto box and no diff locks, even in my current setup 32 tonne 8 wheel with two diff locks and no passangers it is not fun so well done to the bus driver for getting that far, the rest of you just get the licence then comment! if you can??????
@13Tenantry He's a good guy and took it all in good humour. I only posted it on YouTube the guys from Brighton & Hove Bus Company who came out to rescue the bus could see it!! Say hi to him from the guys in Eaton Place!
