Their music choice was interesting... I mean, I know it was that weirdo instrument playing in the pub, but that's so irrelevant to the plot; it's odd that they put that in there...
I didn't like the music it was totally opposite to the what was happening in the scene. The scene was action and dramatic but that music was weird, repetitive and kinda girly.
@queequeg8942 Well, at first, Edwards rejected God because he was angry at him for letting his first wife and daughter die. This was revealed in "Mr. Edwards' homecoming" (season 1). But after Caroline talks to him about it he decides to go to church the next day. So I think he became a Christian again.
Does anyone know for sure, in which century and around which decade of it they started talking about children and young people as "kids"? I know this serie sets to 1870's and up but when did the word's "kid" use start in the first place?
I remember watching this in the 80s, what a powerful episode! Thanks for uploading!

charles ingalls had rock-hard farmer's muscles. he was a good-natured, God fearing, family-loving badass.
saw this episode back in the 1980s and even though it's almost 30 years later, i am still thrilled by how he choked and almost killed that outlaw.
this show is an american classic. thanks so much for uploading this unforgettable episode.
