Tomás MacGiolla also spoke at this meeting, sadly Tomás passed away on thursday and will be sadly missed by the serious Left in Ireland. He was a giant of a man in more ways than one. I never said anything about receiving the dole. However, the moral decay in council estates is distressing. The figures show that the level of teenage pregnancy, violence and substance abuse are inordinately high in these areas. Dependancy culture, created by succesive Welfarist governments, is responsible for this, not the actual residents, who are the victim of the left-wing poverty cycle
