  • This is awesome just intamin usually doesn't use mid course brake runs they usually use trim brakes

  • 5*

  • Once NL2 comes around, I'm considering redoing this ride with whatever editing tools or FVD's that are built in. Completely handbuilding Intamins and B&M's these days results in bad inconsistency and track quality and I should not have overseen the killer 2.1 lats at the end of the ride. Plus I'll get a chance to expand on the scenery which I didn't even show in detail in this video.

  • Awesomeplus were did u get all of the scenery from but I it

  • @calryamol I made the scenery in Anim8or and 3D Studio Max.

  • NIght Hawkin' AWESOME!!

  • Pretty much all of the 3D objects were made in Anim8or or 3D Studio Max., or a combination of both. I also made all textures with Photoshop and Macromedia Fireworks. (Older software from before Adobe took over Macromedia.) Or almost all of the textures. I used a modified OC concrete texture inside the ride op of the ferris wheel which I forgot to remove later on.

  • THAT WAZ AMAZING!!!!!!!! that must have took forever to build w/ all the scenery and stuff. Also the coaster waz great roo there were no red or yellow gs at all!! where did u get the svemery from though?????

  • slows down pretty fast at the end, dont you think? was it just me or did i catch -2.5G's of force?

  • The pumping is less noticeable since this is a front-seat video. And plus the helix tunnel with the "strobe lights" further interferes with being able to see it. I don't think there's a huge problem with the overbanks though; not that I noticed anyway.

I used Anim8or and 3D Studio Max to create the objects.

  • So a hugeass arguement took place here in the last month and I never even noticed...

This is entirely handbuilt, and I've never been able to completely, 100% remove pumping out of any curve. I did manage the speed pretty poorly near the end though; some of those turns and bankings go too fast.

Most rides' launch accels stay near or below 2. I don't recall seeing any ratings on CC nor NLE mentioning that, though I'd have to look up to verify that 2.5 would indeed snap a neck.

  • No, I was saying the pumping was mentioned on CC.

And I had a topic posted about this on CC! LOL That is too funny.

  • what do you use to make your 3d's?

  • Its a good layout with exceptional pacing, a bit all over the place for my taste. Started off smooth but then thing got a bit hectic. The Gs where fine except for the 2.5 Acc G brake at the end and the flick at 1.58 of 2 lat gs, not good for any steel ride. Ouch. Almost every transition had a pump in it. 2 Possible support hits at 1.43 and 1.49. Tunnel test that.

  • Oh yeah, and for those of you who say -2.5G on acceleration is not too forceful, you need to realise that most rides don't go over -1.5. The reason is that it can damage your vision, and cause red out. -2.5g would basically pop your eyes out of your head, or cause them to explode. Positive acceleration is different, as the force is directed BACK. The most forceful ride out there right now is Dodonpa, at +2.3g. That's only for less than a second, and people even complain about headaches from that

  • -2.5 G Acc wouldn't damage your eyes. lol John Stapp withstood 45G's of deceleration and had bleeding on the eyes. Coaster brakes don't exceed -2 because its mainly uncomfortable to be launched into the restraints. ;)

  • yes it would, and this is why ATSM strictly prevents negative forces exceeding -1.4. Same thing goes with the german, chineese, UK, russian, and korean versions of the American Thrill and Safety Management. You have just been pwnd.

  • Ill need to see some proof of that. The eye thing though.

  • Ok, nice ride. Looked pretty fun, and the 3Ds were neat.

And. Before you guys dig yourselves into a deep hole (not talking to video poster), I've got well over 5 years experience with rides.

I did not see any pumps, as I think Shocks were turned on. Lateral forces were a bit crazy, and vertical forces were a tad too strong at -1.5. Positive verticals were fine. Watch the laterals, and bank your turns to get them as close to 0 as possible. Also, look at real supports, and use Crtl and G :)

  • While the supports and scenery on this are good, the trackwork has a lot of room for improvement.

The transitions don't appear to be heartlined, and while better than a lot of the stuff posted on youtube, it's not the smoothest track out there. And the stop does look a bit hard.

  • Xygomorphic77, you are a moron. If you don't play NL, (if you know what that stands for) then don't open your mouth and say anything about it. Also, if you think 2.5 decelerating g's is not bad, then wow.

  • sweet ride dude!!!

  • There seemed to be a lot of pumping and poor transitions; I believe that was already mentioned on CC. But, the main problem is the 2.5 g stop at the end. That is bound to break a few necks.

  • Dude, 2.5 gs is perfect fine and wont even come close to breaking necks. Some roller coasters have stops and accelerations over 4 gs and even that is tolerable.

  • There is not a single rollercoaster on this earth with an accel geforce of 4 g's. you're seriously talking out of your asshole. fucking idiot... Do research first before you go on acting like you know what you're talking about. you don't have a fucking clue dumbass...

  • Actually, they don't. Are you sure you aren't confusing accelerations with vertical Gs? Because while the people who call "unsafe" on coasters with maximum forces of only 4 Gs are certainly idiots, a hard stop like this can be dangerous. While I'm not sure about broken necks, it could cause whiplash, or other injuries.

  • Imagine four times the force of gravity, GRAVITY, which holds a hell of a lot more than your fat ass down to the ground.

Four times the force of gravity into the front of the car you're sitting in.

What the fuck are you on???

  • 4.0g is fine. Tower of Terror in Johannessburg gets up to 6.3g. All of the Vekoma boomerang rides get up to 5.2. The Superman Ultimate Flight flyers get up to 6.0 in the bottom of the pretzel loops. You are obviously a stupid idiotic inexperienced n00b. Please stop posting false bullshit.

  • Your the one who said 2 gs of deceleration would damage your eyes now you are saying that 6.3 is fine? And a Vekoma Boomerang's mostly get positive vertical force. They probably get about 1.3 on the loop but otherwise, there is not that much.

  • Pumping is the inconsistency in directional change. So if a ride is going up slightly and all of the sudden goes up tremendously, thats pumping. It usually occurs on inversions, turns and even hills. Usually you have to either use less vertices get your angles perfect.

As for the 2.5 g stop, it is bad. TTD and KK have a little over one because your going wicked fast. That is really strong. When you make your brake longer and activae right at the begining. And, yes I'm actually on coaster sites.

  • If that what "pumping" is defined as, I didn't see any of that in this coaster and I don't see it as that big of an issue anyway if its slight. And come to think of it, I think your one puny coaster has just that so whoever made this tried a lot better then you. Actions speak louder than words, kid.

  • 1:49 1:14 1:38 1:40 Those are all examples of pumping. The pumping isn't dramatic, but pretty obvious. I think that you are the one who doesn't know shit about things like this. If you don't know what pumping is, and can't identify it, that means you don't have enough experience in the coaster world to criticize. If you think think that 2.5 gs in deceleration is okay you are just plain stupid. And come to think of it, I don't think you can find any pumps in my "puny coaster."

  • Hey look pal I don't want to argue with some obsessed 14 year old on this topic so please don't turn into an average youtube flame war fighter. I think your way too negative on these coaster since you don't have anything nice to say to even the best coasters here with proportion to what you've made yourself, this dude and most other people tried a lot harder than you did. Sheesh... I deal with people like this every day.

  • The problem is, is that this '14 year old' is absolutly spot on in his rating and commenting on this ride. He's just trying to help you guys, cuss 99% of the Nolimits rides here are just 2-star material.

  • Stay out of my arguments please, this isn't any of your business. 99% of the comments and people on youtube are assholes all the time.

  • Stay out of my comments I was helping this guy and you complained. And last time I checked comments can't be assholes.

  • Sure I will, as soon as you stop stalking me. Seriosuly, like 3 other videos you keep making useless replys.

  • You are stalking people. You look up peoples ages and you call ME a stalker. Wow, you need to get a life and admit your wrong. I keep getting replies from people on this and keep coming back. The other ride I commented on long before you were there.

  • Comment removed

  • Pumping is an inconsitency in the radius, such as a sharpe change, like going from a 6meter wide radius, to a 4 meter wide radius. Pumps will only occur on the blue verticies in the editor.

  • It can occur with many things, not just No Limits. In Newton, If you change the force value from 2-3 you are going to get a pump. And you don't need to repeat what I already said.

  • Yes, it can happen with anything, although the formulas in Newton are made to prevent this. Newton 2s are even more advanced, although you can get pumps using curved geometry..

Also, your description didn't really define a pump, so I enlightened your description ;)

  • Neither did yours. The radius can change but it has to be gradually and consistently.

  • hey this amazing

  • music would have been great

  • Also, if anyone would like a 3rd person video showing action clips of the ride, just let me know.

  • I've considered putting music but was too lazy to edit it into the video.

  • 1:le coaster est superbe

2:tu devrais mettre de la music

3:où a tu trouver tes packs???

4:continue sa vaut le coup XD

Translated if you you want to understand that I says XD
