Have you found out what it is? If you did you should message me on here or comment back and tell me because I heard a sound kind of like that last night and it really freaked me out. I don't think what I heard was a fox though since they don't usually come around here and I've never heard that sound before in my life.

@susietheburnout - I'm almost positive that it's a fox. A short time after I posted this I heard the sound shortly before I saw a fox chase my cats across the lawn. There are more foxes around than I imagined.

@bluestarcarolina Thanks, I'm hoping it was a fox or something because what I heard also sounded similar to a coyote, which makes me scared to put my little chihuahua outside by himself! I do actually think what I heard was a coyote though because my friend said he saw some at this park right by my house and they made the exact sound that I heard D:

@susietheburnout - Whatever it is, if I had a chihuahua I wouldn't put it outside after dark without being right there the whole time.
