This lady is so rude and not very practical she is just not happy in relation to all the money she and the family had enjoyed/the good life, welcome to the real word.
Who was the finance man of rebellion? What is Ouattara's real nationality? Why the "international community"stands with Ouattara? Why are they against Gbagbo? You answer a few of those questions, you may start to know something. Then you may be able to talk with coherence. Now, Do you love Africa or not?
Wisdom says to turn your tongues a couple of time before speaking. History and political science are majors in universities for a reason. At what point did Ouattara appear on the political scene in Ivory Coast? Who brought him? What was his purpose at the time? What about Gbagbo? When did he appear on the scene in Ivory Coast politics? Why Ouattara had to receive amnesty from Gbagbo in 2004? What is a rebel? Better yet, what is rebellion?

why are dictators always hiding underground? hitler, gbago, saddam, and im sure a few others. but what is the attraction for living in a hellish hole?
anyway, gbago dude knew the jig was up....if he surrendered they'd definately find the evidence where he commited genocide - this guy was sunk and so is his wife. personally id have covered all exits of his hideout with concrete and intombed him forever.
What is wrong with African Presidents that they stay in power forever and do not know when to leave! Instead of wasting our time, we should be solving problems such as Malaria,Poverty,Unemployment, lack of Infrastructure, Corruption,Malnutrition. Instead of doing that, we are busy fighting wars and killing ourselves over ridiculous things that do not move us forward as a continent! When will all this nonsense stop!
@ronkkey wat is wrong with you! iam from ivory coast gbagbo did NOTHING wrong alassane hates us and tries 2 kill us they gave 80% percent of our cocoa and oil 2 france and u.s and the rest 20% share between ivory coast and burkina faso gbagbo is innocent all u guys lie on him thats y we will always hate u 4 raping and slapping my president alassane is not my president!!!
@lilwaynerule1 what Gbagbo did wrong was overstaying his term, cancelling elections, creating division of the country threw propaganda and rhetoric which ultimately led to his demise. He should of been a unifier of all Ivorians regardless of their ethnic background and the situation would of never escalated to how it is now.
@termanology85 okk please shut up if urnt african dont put ur dirty mouth in our buissness if u dont kno the truth shut up pissing pple off he did nothing wrong if u all minded ur fucking buissness none of this wud b happening espece de idiote!! tu me nerve!!
Why should Africans be dying over power tossle-are we not worth more/value and respect ourselves more. If Gbagbo loved his people that much, when the 1st Ivorian's blood was shed, he should have given a speech stating that he was stepping down just for the sake of peace for his people. Rather he stayed. He is an old man-what else does he want! There are other people who are younger and with more modern appraoch who can lead Ivory Coast. Why did he reduce himself to hiding in a bunker!
While all this was going on(and all the wars in Africa), India and other developing countries were busy creating better technology, producing more entrepreneurs, becoming less of developing but more of emerging economies with stronger positions in the world. There are many Ivorians who are well educated who could be president and move the country forward, it is not just these guys.
@ronkkey your exactly right. African countries will never develop and catch up and even surpass the rest of the world if we are constantly in the state of war. These leaders who overstay their time in office are a big problem. The politicians are the ones creating the divide amongst the people and have them on the streets fighting each other. Notice how Gbagbo and Ouattara were in hotels and palaces whiles their poor supporters are on the streets dying for them...it needs to stop.
This step-daugther is crazy -she said that gbagbo should not have allowed for the candidates to run for the elections. She is speaking as if gbagbo owns ivory coast. She is as bad as her step-father. She is so arrogant, stuck up. She comes across as being extremely heartless and self-centered.
@ronkkey Did Bedie allow Ouattara run for election ? NO,Did Guy Robert allow Ouattara run for election in Ivory Coast ?NO!!.Go & read "DIRECTORY OF FELLOW" by African American Institute for Africa Office of the Agency for International Development. You are the one sounding arrogant & ignorant. This is why she said that is Gbagbo's regret. Ouattara is an imposter by France & the West to continue to exploiting Ivory coast & Africa. It is big shame that we as Africans have not learnt our lessons.
@itepu22 Sorry I do not see it that way. A man has been in power for about 10 years, that is enough, he should leave. his people do not want him, other African nations do not support him and the international world does not want him. Liberia, Seirra Leone, Sudan, Congo, Zimbabwe all have had these problems with people being in power and where has it led their people - war, poverty, death. Enough is enough. All this does is it stops africa from progressing.
@itepu22 Also, its African govts that loot Africa(through corruption), stealing the people's money (in billions)and transferring it to their swiss accounts and accounts overseas. So many of them have mansions all over the world, with private jets and live very lavish lives while their people are lanquishing in poverty. When it comes to Africa, I donot need to read no directory-I have lived, experienced, breathed and witnessed every aspect of African life- so I talk from real life experience
@itepu22 but y would Gbagbo allow Ouattara to run for President and then complain that he is not eligible after the election. If he was not eligible then the election should of never gone down. I believe if Gbagbo would of won out right this wouldn't be an issue.
What I've heard is that both sides were crooked as hell and Gbagbo is being prosecuted under "Victor's Justice."
