thanks very much! I did not think of parking the silverback in the corner. I always put it behind the gate entrance. But I always struggled to kill the polyps from that postition without getting owned. I will try this strategy out!

@psycho1997 Any weapons with an "Overheat" gauge can be cooled down faster by holding RB. Vulcans, Mulchers, Troikas, Turrets etc. But you need to do it before it reaches the maximum heat and busts.
