how can I get the mask thing cos I cant change it when I add it to my text? And I cant seem to figure out how to get the 3d on and move to point of view (camera) its a bit hard since I'm a real beginner :)
@17yvette04 I'm going to make another tutorial on how to do this, I feel as though this tutorial doesn't cover everything correctly and I'm very sorry. To make a layer 3D, click on the "Toggle Switches /modes" button until you get boxes next to your layers. click on the column of squares that shows a cube. When you fill the bex with a cube next to your layer, it becomes a 3D layer. You should head over to videocopilot (Dot) net and look at the free beginners tutorial! Hope this helps
@randomraretutorials Thanks I will check the vid. and see If I get it right this time, btw thanks for the responsen need to figure something and check if this will work
@Scrata Not sure... But you can just render your Adobe After Effects video as a lossless AVI file and then import it into premiere. It's the same thing except that dynamic link just makes it so that I don't have to render. Sorry, I wish I had a solution for you. I just used Dynamic link because it was quicker than rendering twice.
@randomraretutorials Oke, thank you! Also; your video shows a black screen right at the part where you explain how to let the words pop up (22:53) that was a bit unlucky :(.
@randomraretutorials I just finished my very first Kinetic Typography video beceause of your tutorial:). The only thing that is a bit sucky is the syncing of the words beceause i couldn't render the audio in after effects? So i had to copy the audio in Sony vegas and then render it so now the sync is a bit off.. But never the less; Thank you!
@Scrata Make sure that the FPS is the same in everything you used! The time signature will change if you have them different. (Like if it's 29.97, then leave it that way for everything you use!) And I am planning on making another tutorial because I feel that this one isn't as good as I can do and I know how frustrating it can be a to have a tutorial that doesn't make as much sense as it should.
@marmaritaK The keyframes you set for "Sure Target" or your camera have to make the camera stay for a few seconds. So you have to add a keyframe RIGHT before the camera movement so that it stays on the words. I hope you understood what I said XD pm me if you need more help!
Heyy thanks bud it means alot! I love it! And i have 2 questions, how did u get ur fraps to record on ur desktop and 2, whats ur steam ? We could play together on team fortress or something like that, if u want, but great tut. Love it!
@HalomasterA69 Getting Fraps to record the desktop requires Vista or above, when you first open up Fraps, on the first page check mark "Monitor Aero Desktop (DWM)" and you should see the yellow counter on the upper left part of the screen. Then just press the record button to record the desktop. My steam is "randomrarehunter" without the quotes. Glad you liked the tutorial! :)
@randomraretutorials Heyy thanks man, ya this is very very hard for me because of my learning disability, but i still managed to do some of it:) and ya got my fraps up and i added ya im HalomasterA69, and yes this is probably one of the best tuts ive seen in awhile
