Eh. The safari zone is a good place to catch substitute pokemon. For the ultimate training expierence, I would catch better pokemon, like Flaafy or Miltank.

@robertakabeavis you need the items first, so if you don't know how to get them, you have to help Baoba 2 times so when you get the items go in the safari zone then go to meadow zone and the put 10 forest objects and 14 peak objects, then wait for 70 days, the after 70 days go back to the meadow zone and there you go, a Riolu, you can find it in heartgold and soulsilver

@chocorules10 ur wrong i have the pokemon heart gold guide book(VOL 2) and it sais to get riolu u have to have 42 rock objects 28 forest objects inside the meadow area i know what ur thinking how cause u can only have 30 items at once? that is true BUT if you use an area continuosusly enough the safari dude will call you and he ses the areas rank has gone up witch means1object can have the effect of 2 objects so u gota keep raising the ranks this is what the book says

@mobohasfleas you are suppost to get shuppet first. so to find it you put 18 forest objects and wait for 20 days, after 20 days and there you go a shuppet. so there is not a banette in the forest zone. but there is one in the marshland zone, to get it put 25 peak objects and wait for 30 days, after 30 days go there and you'll find lots there.
