bedrock isnt actually indestructible.

tnt can break it, along with other explosives

-_- @dumbcraps, I doubt he was using a mod or anything, natural void-holes occasionally appear, there isn't a flat layer at the very bottom, the bedrock is spaced out over 5 layers and sometimes (though rarely) a hole can be found.

You can actually mine bedrock with diamond pick, though it takes 1.5 hours :O and if you unhold the button you start all over again. And with right amount of tnt at the same time, you can break atleast 1 bedrock.

@TheSilverLemon no rly im serious xD, every single block have a value which determine the time it takes to mine a block, like for torch its 1 or 0, which is instantly. Items such as picks have a value depending on its type, and how durable and how fast it mines. Bedrock does not have an "infinity" value, cuz thats not possible. So Notch made Bedrock value sooo high theres no sane person to mine it, and you gotta hold the mouse for 1.5 hrs.
