i did it a little differently i filled up every page all the way to 11 and put voice memos at the end i then realized i needed 1 more app so i replug it back into my computer and low and behold i had a 12th lol idk what i did but it put another pace and i didn't have to restart it lol

so 20 x 2880 = 57000 MB (50+ GB)

@crazygood150 Well it took all night, but ALL my apps (except the incompatible ones that relied only on the camera -- about 60 of them) were there! I could only SEE the first 11 pages -- which were exactly the ones I wanted where I wanted them. Using the 'search' feature (to the left of the first page) I could type the first few letters of any app, find it and launch it. It's all there! Do I ever go outside now? What's outside? Why bother! --Just kidding, yes, I hike and take pictures... Enjoy!

I DID install all of them on my iPad 64GB, but only AFTER I installed the main ones on all 11 pages. It kind of happened by accident. I was happily updating my iPad settling in on my 'best' apps and the layout on each page when all of a sudden ALL my apps were checked 'on' when I hit the Apps tab (in iTunes 9.1). So I figured "Divine Intervention", right, and I clicked OK.

heyy I got the solution myself... so i'm leaving this for those who has same prob like me.... after restoring the iPhone several time, and also turn it on-off, now everything works just fine!! the icon all shows up properly <3333 gluck!

Correction: I tried again several times but made sure the USB cable wasn't attached. Now, iTunes doesn't interfere, so it does seem to work. I'm noticing some unusual behavior as a result. Just make sure your Phone is not connected to your computer.

This worked briefly and got me my 12th page, but as soon as I updated apps from the App Store, the page disappeared and the trick no longer seems to work. Every time I push the Voice Memo icon out of the last position on the last page by the icon on the last position of the previous page, they swap positions. I'm using the latest iTunes and iPhone OS.

@magicaliphone I'm not 100% positive that it is the case for all ipod touches/iphones. I had to redo the whole process, and it seems to work now, but deleting certain apps seem to make it back to default, and makes you start over again. Any others having problems?

@magicaliphone Just did my upgrade expecting the worst, and everything went smoothly. I'd suggest taking a picture of each of your pages with the apps where you want them -- just in case you need to recreate your pages -- then bully backup your phone, then update iTunes, reconnect, and see what you've got. If everything is fine, do another backup. All 57 of my pages came through just fine....

@heyman925 I've got 44 now and simply can't stop! I think I'm wearing my finger down from swiping so much. Seriously, I use the "Search" quite often. Some apps have strange names, though, and I need to have them on the phone to see them and remember the name if I forget it. If an app is installed but invisible, and I don't remember the name to search for it, I'm SOL. The multiple page thing at least helps with that...

Is there a limit to the number of pages? You tell us. I've just added page 44 to my tiny original 8GB 2G iPhone.

BTW: For the longest time I stayed at OS 3.0, but recently updated to 3.1.3. Everything went fine, all pages remained intact, and now I can actually see them in iTunes under the Applications tab on the iPhone selection. The first 11 are solid and all the rest are shaded out.

Great news!!! I've got an even shorter process for you to follow to add pages to your phone. Follow along with these steps:

1. Fill your first page completely with apps;

2. Go to your last page, fill it up too, and make sure the "Voice Memeos" app is the last one;

3. Force the "Voice Memos" app off the page by dragging an app from your bottom four onto the page.

4. Turn your iPhone off using the top button and the slider.

5. Turn your iPhone on and wait for it to boot up. That's it!

It works like charm on my iTouch OS v.3.1.2. I don't even need to restart it. After adding the last icon (install a new app) as instructed in the video, the 2nd blank page created automatically. Thanks for the video, although I think the video is kinda too long... can be trimmed down a little bit.

I don't know, but I can't imagine it would. It's no different than turning your unit on and loading it up to capacity with apps. All you are doing is arranging apps on your screen, then 'forcing' one Apple app off the last screen. It's not jailbreaking or anything like that. I just hope Apple gets a clue and gives us unlimited pages in OS4...

Thanks. Guess when OS4 comes out I'll take the plunge and update all. I am regularly taking pictures of each page of apps (with the power +home button push trick) so if I loose all my extra pages, I'll at least know where everything was when it happened so I can restore them where I want....
