Whit ease. i've gtx460 sli with cpu bottleneck - e8400@3800 - in 1920*1200 max, 8xAA, 16xAF, and on most maps the fps never drops lower than 35. your 4 core cpu and the new chipset will do their job.

The difference between 2 vs 4 core whit similar chipset is about 20 fps.

so dont worry, just have fun!

@DavidKazlauskas theres so many tree's in bad company though, which are all destructable, so if they made them too higher quality then a lot of the computer resources would be wasted on them.. not everyone spends £500+ on a pc

I have a new G73h gaming laptop, but see no reason to buy the pc version of this over my ps3 one. The only think that looks better over the console version are the anti-aliasing (which the console game doesn't have) and better resolution. Other than that, there isn't much difference.

keep in mind that this is the BETA, works much better in retail, i play it at 1920x1080 res and all other settings at highest (except AA) and i average at around 50-60 fps with a Radeon HD 5850

He's getting 60 FPS, you can tell by watching the video he is getting alot more than 20 FPS... Also his CPU is not bottlenecking his GPU at all, the i7 920 is a very good CPU, the term bottleneck gets tossed around alot these days...

@adalstan trust me i play this shit every day almost at 45-50 fps thats definatly 20-30...shit it takes a 3.2 Q6600 to completely remove the bottleneck of the GTX 275 and that cards a dual GPU.

@TehNubinz The only main difference is that AA is not available under DX9.

As for DX10 vs 11, I haven't noticed a visible difference between the two, other than that I get slightly better frames on 11.

I have the beta now, my HD 5870 is having a hard time running at 1680x1050 DX11 8XAA 16XAF High settings(20-60fps).

I changed the compatibility mode to XP SP3 and I get 60-100fps now with everything on high and 4XAA 16XAF.

The graphics look the same...I expected DX11 to look much better..

Gameplay wise it's not as good as BF2 (IMO). Kinda feeling buyers remorse right now..(pre-ordered the game on steam)...

At least DICE is putting a fair amount of support behind the PC version with a server browser and no forced matchmaking. I think for many it will fill the void left by MW2.
