I'm only 15 but my dad got me into horseshoes in 09 and I love it! Haha I just moved back to 40 ft. My dad said it's better to reajust before u turn 18 and i'm still throwing great! My average dropped a little to a 36 % when. I was at 41% but know all ya can do is get better! :D

horseshoes is a sport. I throw horseshoes myself. I am a member of the National Horseshoe Pitching Association. This sport is a very fun sport and you do not need steroids to get you better. The best way to get this good is to practice like he said. If you do not believe it is a sport then you can go to the NHPA website

I once knew a guy who was a 90% thrower. In the 1960's, I was in the CDF on the San Francisco peninsula and he worked the lookout tower up the hill from our station. He had a pit up there and I'd go up now and then when off duty (I was 17) and play a few games with him. He'd throw ringer after ringer and I couldn't hit the pit. He was probably in his fifties at the time and we didn't have much in common, but we enjoyed each other's company. Funny, I'd forgotten all about it until I saw this.

I would really love to know just what he uses in his pits. It looks sticky, but yet it doesn't get onto the Horseshoes. I love pitching Horseshoes, and think I would really challenge him.
