I was so pleased with her platform that, though I wasn't old enough to vote at the time, I promised she had it the moment she was on my ballot. And here I am now even more pleased than I was with her years ago. I can't thank her enough!

@mercracer24--there was also a vote that day that would have limited the salary of the EMs to no more than the salary the governor receives, which is $159,000 annually. The State Senate voted it down. These bills allow the EMs, or the firms acting as EMs, to make as much money as they see fit to discharge their duties, regardless of how successful they are. There are no monetary limits. Like she asks, where is the Tea Party now?

No where in this bill does it describe the Emergency Manager's salary as upwards of $150,000.
