Both words are used. In this case, the title is a nod to the c86/twee movement as the song was originally written and recorded by the Indietweeband Nixon.

I remember this song cause when Allison Stoke became an internet sensation, there was a video of Allison with this song in the background. But, this song sounds slightly different than from what I remembered- I don't know if it was a different mix or if my memory of the song is off.
