32 polyphony just don't cut it. Or at least give 1 assignable knob would be nice. like control the mix of your dual. Lots of Limitation. But for the price you're paying. it's definitely a Big gang for your money. My opinion.. the 8 performance button NAILED the other synths in terms of bringing up patches quick..
Why showing the MM6? I had the MM6 and now I have the MM8. Same sounds but MM8 has 88 GHS Weighted keys. Its mainly targeted for Hip hop and alike music. as patterns goes not too many as they are repeated 3 X, one pattern with drums only, another drums and bass and another full. They could have added more patterns and added 2 extra buttons to remove bass and strings.
I love my MM8 and consider it a "low high-end" synthesizer. For what it does and how much it cost me I give it an 8 out of 10. Some don't like that it only has an 8-track sequencer but, geez. You can plug it into your computer (USB or MIDI) and store those 8 then make 8 more! :P For $1000 it rocks. That's all i can say about it.
I love mine so much. Feels just like one of their pianos. For a reasonable price for what it's worth. It's helped me record Piano, some guitar chords, synth, strings, and drums just from this one thing! I love it so much haha
