Man this is really amazing stuff. My dad was the coach at Green Bay West at the time, who also came in unbeaten and got beat by Wisconsin Rapids. Those times in the old Field House were a huge part of my childhood. I remember Sewell was a big name stud, but watching this that point guard number 14 really made Grafton go - at least in this game. I remember Milwaukee Lincoln won the tournament this year and also in 1967 with some pretty amazing teams. Thanks!
I was at the '66 tourney in the Grafton crowd. We were delirious after beating East. The guys on the team were sick with the flu and dropped the next two games. I recall watching "Downtown" Freddie Brown from Lincoln with his superb ball handling.
