@LumanoidAU The bombings happened on August 6 (Hiroshima) and August 9 (Nagasaki). Japan surrendered on September 2, 1945. We bombed them so we could force them to surrender, not to watch fireworks. As I said, in politics you're just cannon fodder. War and politics will never go away, due to man's sinful and flawed nature. We did what we had to do. Was it good? No, but we had to do it to end the war and the Axis powers.

@LumanoidAU The bombings happened on August 6 (Hiroshima) and August 9 (Nagasaki). Japan surrendered on September 2, 1945. We bombed them so we could force them to surrender, not to watch fireworks. As I said, in politics you're just cannon fodder. War and politics will never go away, due to man's sinful and flawed nature. We did what we had to do. Was it good? No, but we had to do it to end the war and the Axis powers.

@LumanoidAU You're welcome. As I said, I love Japan and would very much love to go to the country. We're allies now and that's all that matters. Same thing is with Vietnam. I have no problem with the Japanese memorializing the event, but I just find it far-fetched that our leaders are apologizing for something that they don't hold against us and that happened 65 years ago. My best friend is Chinese + her family told me about what the Japs did + refuse to make amends + apologize. My Aunt a US Naval Nurse + taken prisoner at Battan. From 9/7/1945 Japs beat, whipped, raped USA women while slowly trying to starv theme to death. After Nagasaki Japs allowed food + emergency medical supplies. She told all about the Japs animals + they did not deserve mercy period!

My grandmasters in Shotokan karate are good guys and the ones at the Korean Baptist Church I attend are very friendly as well. Like I said, we're allies and that's all that matters.

Since your so easily turned by small amounts of evidence, I have a book suggestion you might enjoy, maybe you should read Mein Kampf, that is Hitlers book in which he discusses how Jews were the cause of everything wrong in the world. He'll too use a small amount of facts to help persuade readers into his evil ideals. And he did, he managed to get entire countries with that book.

@LumanoidAU No your the Nazi I am the American and Japs fucked up my family WW2 and Europe. My Aunt a US Naval Nurse + JAP POW from Battan to 9/4/1945. My Aunt + other American women were beated, raped, whipped + sold into slavery as comort women for Jap Soldiers +while being starved to death at the same time.. Japs stopped beatings after Nagasaki + allowed food + medical supplies until released. There were 820 women in her POW camp a the begining, at the end there was 327 women found alive.

@LottoWinner999 I haven't had a lot of time on my hands to do so. Japan is like the Great Britain of the Orient. Like Britain, they are very proud and view themselves as the sophisticated race. I not going to hate the japanese for what they did in WWII, or to other people in other nations. Not only is it all ancient history, but those affairs do not concern me because I was never apart of it. Don't hate the japanese for something they did in the past.

@puppetmaster1011 I have been in close quarteds combat fighting for my life and you have no idea what a wake up call it is when on the gorund looking up and theres a bayonet coming right for your ribs. I was lucky one round left and I made it count. The Japs and Germans are waiting for their chance while they lull you and others that their our friends. Its time you open your eyes and realize the military veterans have more expereince than you who has never served of fought for your life.

Jap guards took pleasure in whipping, beating + raping my Aunt + other American women while slowly starving them 2 death. After Nagasaki Bomb Japs allowed emergency food drops + medical supplies. When camp was liberated only 300 USA POWS left. She said they would not last 30 more days. Those Nukes saved many USA + Allied POWS watch UNIT 731 + learn.

Also, to my knowledge the Germans weren't a threat to us in Australia. We fought in Europe as allies to America to assist. However Japan did attack us in the north. But like I said. War is wrong, and killing is wrong and all sides committed attrocities.

The Japs wanted Australian but the United States Navy and US Marines kept them from attacking since all your troops were Africa. Don't USA saved Aussie Butts with those Nuke becuase after Germany was defeated Aussie troops would be shipped back for the invasion of Japan which would mean 150,000 Aussie KIAS!

I was in UASF in 1966 in Vietnam + asshole like U would spit on my uniform when I got home. I joined USAF instead of being drafted + assholes like U made Veterans miserble who went though hell just to survive. In war U have to fight + as much U despise the military their protecting your life!

The Allies knew the highest death rate during WW2 was fighting the Japs. 38,000 Americans died taking Okinawa, 30,000 for Iwo Jima. For a land invasion to invade Japan it was estimated 1 million USA dead + would Britain + Aussies death be at leat 500,000KIA. Japs wanted high American death rates to save face losing the war. Aussies Troops celebrated after Japs surremdered!

There were two USA Eagle Squadrons with 275 US Pilots who fought + died in the Battle of Britain. USA to destroyers in 1939 in covoy duty 2 Britain. USA Flying Tigers fought the Japs in China. Plus we troops + ships supplying U. If Brits, Aussies, French had balls they could have stopped Hitler in 1936.

USA fought the Solomon Island, Sai Pan, Iwo Jima, Miday, Peleilu, Truk, Phillipines, Iwo Jima, Okiknawa, Guam + other Islands. We fed + kept British + Aussie supplied. We help Britian + Aussie economies after WW2. The USA did more fighting + fought more battle the Britain + Aussies combined. U forget the war against Japs was bigger than European war!

jaPAN was never my enemy, nor is NORth korea , china , iraq, and any other country that the US government has declared war on. My only enemies are those that threatened to squash my liberties and threaten or take innocent lives. The US government is guilty of all of those things, so they are my enemy.

Iraq followed what one could call ``Islamic Socialism`` which incorporated Islamic beliefs with some Economic ideas from Marxism and some from Capitalism (Free-Market Economy). Ba`ath party was Islamic first and foremost. Saddam Hussein himself was not an ideologue.

I live in australia, and australia is my enemy for censoring the internet. We are all victims of our goverments. Japanese civilians would of fought if Americans invaded them, just like Americans civilians would fight if another country invaded America.
Its the goverments that screw us over, and cause innocent deaths.

@LumanoidAU To you it is, but that is reality. I don't like the government any more than you do, but I see the reason for it. Think about it, if there was no government all you would have is anarchy. The government runs in accordance to whosoever is calling the shots and however it was established. The government changes as our technology advances. I'm for limited government and there are certain agencies we need to get rid of like the IRS and the UN.
