ACDC had a song out "Death to Disco" It was also the decade of "Saturday Night Fever", Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles. I actually prefer the early eighties (and late seventies) Ska/Punk music - The Beat, UB40, The Specials, The Clash, The Ramones. Now reflected in Bands (although they aren't as big now) as Reel Big Fish, Rise Against, Less Than Jake, Anti-Flag. The cream will still rise to the top.
