  • Inspired a hundred indie kids to improve their dance steps. Superb

  • Saw them at Essex University in 1986. So much energy.

  • Saw this lot at the ULU (University of London Union) in March 86. Much better then! Before the MDMA kicked in

  • I thought this was Buzzcocks when I first heard it on Peely. Bought it at Sydney Scarborough's in Hull a week or so later. Still love it.

  • ye this was the soup dragons as we knew them originally brilliant

just dont go typind jesus and mary chain in youtube lately! lets remember these great bands we knew them !

  • excellent.

  • I'm free was the end. The early singles were magic

  • I can remember buying this on 7" blue vinyl. A loooong time ago.

  • early soup dragons were the best. a shame theyre later material was so dreadful.

  • Never heard this tune before, clearly hear they were influenced by The Buzzcocks.

  • Awesome!!

I LOVE the early Soup Dragons stuff, i have a signed color vinyl of 'Hang Ten'. They were great live back in the day.

  • @ciderspace99

    me too!!!!!!!

  • Didn't even know there was a video for this one so thanks a million. This is great as is I Know Everything on the B-side (if I remember correctly) - a wonderful single.

  • There's a video for this?

  • I put this on a mix tape to be played on the bus to school in Greenock. It got a mixed response.

  • wasnt it Whole World Waiting?

  • So pleased I've got this on 7" when they were on the Subway label before joining Big Life. Fantastic record man, this made me buy the Hang Ten EP wich has Slow Things down, Girl in the World and many more.

  • Brilliant. I remember the first time I heard Whole Wide World on the radio. It was when Muriel Gray was standing in on the Janice Long show. The summer of '86, happy days.
