Vestal always sang in the presence of the lord. Just look into her eyes when she sang. You could tell she was in the spirit. I have almost everything she has ever done, and this song along with Rock of Ages are two of my favorites. The absolute most dynamic voice to ever be heard in all of gospel. Just ask Bill Gaither.
Vestal is and always will be amazing!! God's annointing on here was very evident in her singing and passion for him. She is dearly missed. I could only wish for such a powerful voice that was used for God. God is GREAT!

My great great grand mother knew Vestal befor all of the fame and traveling my mom has a pic of Vestal and my great great grand mother out by the pond berfoot and fishing.
I was a very young man attending a Happy Goodman Family concert at the old State Theatre in downtown Minneapolis, MN in 1978. The concert was extraordinary. But afterward, walking home along the dark city streets, I walked past the Goodman's touring bus, and there was Vestal counseling a weeping young girl. I will never forget that scene, after all the spotlights were turned off, there was Vestal doing her own ministry. The Goodmans were disciples of Jesus in the spotlight and out of it.
I agree, this is music and the modernized stuff is just noise. I commented on one of Anthony Burger's vids on here and said he is now playing the prelude to the retun of the king of kings and lord of lords. Vestal is singing in that choir up in heaven gettin ready for the grand celebration.

I can hardly believe it when I hear this MANIFICANT old Hymn that speaks of the Saving Blood of our Jesus Christ. PTL for the annointed voices that are singing this so beautifully. This was one of the first hymns that I played as a young girl at my father's country church - holding my breath to not miss a note on the piano. And, you know what? I didn't because I was letting God use me and my talent. Thank you Jesus for the delightful memories and for cleansing me in that fountain.

Vestal Goodman, a wonderful gospel singer and Christian. God used Vestal in music to save the lost and help gather his sheep into the fold. Why after listening to her gifted voice, who could refuse to accept our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus. I'm sure Vesta has many jewels in her crown for her love and service to and for, the Lord.

Vestal Goodman is the Queen Mother of all Gospel Music. What a blessing she and Howard have been over the many years of their ministry. It is great to see so many wonderful old friends in these videos including my precious friend Kirk Talley. The people have blessed me for 30-40 years. God bless you fopr posting these.

no it's "There Is a Fountain Filled With Blood" but if you want to get really technical...it is actually called "Praise the Fountain Opened" :)

I can hardly believe it when I hear this MANIFICANT old Hymn that speaks of the Saving Blood of our Jesus Christ. PTL for the annointed voices that are singing this so beautifully. This was one of the first hymns that I played as a young girl at my father's country church - holding my breath to not miss a note on the piano. And, you know what? I didn't because I was letting God use me and my talent. Thank you Jesus for the delightful memories and for cleansing me in that fountain.
