while going thru the story behind the film, i had read somewhere that r d burman was actually decided as the music director but later due to some problems salil chowdhari was made the music director as a gesture of appreciation to hrishikesh mukherjee r d had already composed a tune which was given to salil chowdhari the song was zindagi kaisi hai paheli hai if any one knows about this please post the comments
