if you's go into Government, are you and fine gael going to have an emergency budget and reduce the diplorable tax burden that has been placed on the Irish people? Also help people who have deep trouble in keeping up with their mortgage payments? I demand an answer. I saw Pat Rabbit have a fit when it was put to him all politicians are the same. Sooo?
turned your back on socialism, to prop up a right wing party for the brutal and shameful exploitation of man. we had a chance for a real change, and you turned your back on your people and your roots. your lust for power is starting to rot to the core of the working man.s politics. you refuse to take a stance with the left wing. you sold out. have some courage and you will succeed. fianna gail are selling you to the dogs. and pissing all over your party.
Eamon, You of all people having regard to your background and party political leanings over the years, softening as you go, mellowing as you age, wiser as you mature, you should now ;know that the whole system is stink and has to be changed. a New constitution is now required.
I can't believe that the Labour Party would plan to introduce a property tax based on "valuation" when property has no value. Surely a tax on property will be introduced in the future, but it should be based on square meters and number of properties held, rather than a random valuation by a QUANGO appointed by the government to create extra jobs under the heading of get back to work
hopefully these local elections will see some labour have clout, so that we would have labour councellors that will rock the boat , we need a change now , we cannot wait, vote labour
So right you are eamon. i have always been into politics, yet labour has not been in my sight. well i tell you this now sir, i will support and i will join labour.
you have a strong voice and strong facts. keep it up
we need gilmore , he helped unearth the trash that has been going with the past 12 years, hopefully he will be in the next government, to keep things honest
In 1985 Dick Spring as minister for Energy in Garret Fitzgeralds coalition government began to cede ground to the oil companies. He granted special terms to fields that were under 75million barrels. This included a reduced royalty rate and a sliding scale for state participation rights. In 1986 Spring removed all state participation rights on what were termed marginal fields.
irelands natural resources are being raped by multinationals , and their stooges in dail eireann have helped them !
Banksters caused these problems, and politicians are backed by banksters and developers, i prefere opposition parties, once in power..... power corrupts. Wud labour shrink the size of the goverment and let the ppl have the power..... like they are suppose to? will labour give the ppl full disclosure and a tranparent governing system? will labour fight 4 the release of free energy. Any man in government who wishes to protect any private bankster r cartel is jus as rotten as them.
only for labour we would know half of the thievery that has gone on in the past 12 years, labour party members dont have any skeletons in their closets, they are the only party who are asking the proper questions , showing up the others hiding the truth all along
true they are asking question, but are they doin it to apease the public or to root out the evil for good. Labour should push for local government. With local government in power things will be done faster. I dont care what u say, the more ppl government control the closer to socialism it becomes, small local goverment, small local business, locally grown food.the more massive corporations we allow grow, the less control we have
