3 months ago I read a review of an album of them, wich was praised as if it was the holy grail to a decent top 40.

Somewhere like a month ago I think, John Mayer said he listened to Fleet Foxes. Okay. So I finally decidede to check them out. They're awesome. They're exactly what pop music needs these days. Keep it going guys!

Sometimes record labels stick their noses where they perhaps should not.

Regardless, these guys seem to be staying true. As long as a band has a strong inner core I believe they can survive on the big screen.

I mean, look at most of the bands from the 60 and 70s. The 80s were just horrible to real pop music. The 90s were okay with Nirvana, but not too much else. Now we're getting some indie bands that are breaking in and doing some decent stuff. No GREAT modern indie band has made it huuge.
