If you fire a rocket from a populated area and use your own population as a human shield while you fire rockets on the other side's civilian population - than you are responsible for any civilian being killed, yours, or theirs.

The IDF could,and should,have been much more careful in its attacks on Hizballah so as not to cause civilian deaths,lebanese or otherwise.However,Hizballah very much takes a share of the blame for those deaths as it does root itself and its weaponry in civilian areas.If Hizballah attacks israeli civilians,it knows that israel will act to take out its weapons in order to protect those civilians. So, by placing its weapons in civilian areas,it is putting those civilians' lives in jeapordy.

Had they fired on israel from open areas, although they would've made themselves more vulnerable to attacks, they would not have endangered innocent civilians; this would much better protect the people of lebanon than storing weaponry in civilian areas. @Moedii the cluster bombs were used in open fields against rocket launching cells. they are supposed to explode, not stick around for farmers to trip over, obviously many of them were defective, (as is usually the case with cluster bombs) this should not be confusing. If you think the qana bombings were on purpose you probably think Bush did 911 too. At the very least give us credit for being intelligent, bombing that building cost lots of time and money and didnt get us anything....cont.

And IDF are Israelis. But they don't opperate from within Israeli civilian population, they have military bases. If you fire a rocket from a populated area and use your own population as a human shield while you fire rockets on the other side's civilian population - than you are responsible for any civilian being killed, yours, or theirs.
Oh, and how does firing rockets on civilians count for self defense? As I said, IDF sits elsewhere, you have 0 chance of hitting soldiers that way.

The IDF could,and should,have been much more careful in its attacks on Hizballah so as not to cause civilian deaths,lebanese or otherwise.However,Hizballah very much takes a share of the blame for those deaths as it does root itself and its weaponry in civilian areas.If Hizballah attacks israeli civilians,it knows that israel will act to take out its weapons in order to protect those civilians. So, by placing its weapons in civilian areas,it is putting those civilians' lives in jeapordy.

Had they fired on israel from open areas, although they would've made themselves more vulnerable to attacks, they would not have endangered innocent civilians; this would much better protect the people of lebanon than storing weaponry in civilian areas. I agree that israel is very much in the wrong in terms of its occupation of palestinian land, but israelis in haifa and the galilee and all over the north are not occupying land, and have never hurt anyone in their lives; so why attack them?

Islam practically gave birth to Western Civilization, and Islamic law has roots in civil and common law used in the West. During the middle ages when Europe was in the dark ages of papal and church corruption, Islam, coming from North Africa became a new power beside east and west europe. When it was making its rounds of conquest it influenced and donated its practices to the inevitable birth of civilization.

Easy to say. But Israel was attacked by arabs in '48, '56, '67, and '73 and they totally THRASHED the stupid Arabs and their corrupt religion every time. By any definition, Hizbollah is a noble and patriotic resistance supported by the MAJORITY OF LEBANESE.
