  • Sounds awesome. Hope you have a good time!

  • @urbanexcursion Thank you! And a belated Merry Christmas and I hope 2012 rocks for you sir!

  • VIDEO GAMES LIVE! ;DDDD I saw them before!

  • @AlyMewGaming Nice! I am psyched! Can't wait until April!

  • @TheFaustianMan I hope you vlog about your experience. I will say, I did close my eyes to listen to the music and imagine me playing the games I heard. =]

  • Sounds really awesome. On a side note, I like how an orchestral CD of various Zelda themes was included with each copy of the latest Zelda game Skyward Sword

  • @EpistemicDuty THIS! I thought that was great too! I am listening to it right now. You might get me to believe in Synchronicity if you keep this up Epi! ;)

  • Oh, and if I don't talk to you before Sunday:

    MERRY CHRISTMAS,

Happy New Year (do you ever go see the ball drop? I've gone 3 times)

and I hope the holidays are good to you and yours.

  • @kingdomofchrissmith Merry Christmas to you as well! Never went to see the ball drop. When I see a crowd that big, I think I become an agoraphobic. hahaha.

I did forget (believe it or not) it was New Years and got stuck in the worst traffic I had ever seen. lol. Funny in hindsight...not so funny when you're just sitting in your car for 2 hours 15 blocks from home!

How was it? Could you get out? And did you have to show up at an insane time?

  • @TheFaustianMan Yeah, it can get pretty crowded in Times Square around midnight. Fortunately, my friend lived a block off the Square so we didn't have to brave the crowd for too long. Although my friends and I usually hang out in the Square for an hour before and an hour or so afterward. But as crowded as it gets, you can still move around so if you get there a half hour before midnight you can still walk to a good position. My favorite time was when it was snowing.

  • @TheFaustianMan Also, back in the winter of '87 I think, my father, a friend and I were on the Jersey Parkway on our way back into the city when traffic came to a stop. The snow had made travel to the Lincoln Tunnel impossible so we had to sit for two hours in the idling car with the heat on as HEAVY snow fell around us at 2 in the morning!

One more reason I now prefer a five hour drive to Miami to sloshing around in the snow. ^___^

  • I hope you enjoy VideoGamesLive!

    And now a quick rant:

For years my mom lived in Red Bank and I was an avid comic collector. The year was 1990 and I would go to the Monmouth County Mall for my comics, not knowing The Secret Stash was just around the corner. In '90 I also made my first feature with my friends, Red Flag Down. If I had known about the Stash, I would have helped with Clerks and probably be over in Hollywood with Kevin right now.

Funny, the doors you don't open through life...

  • @kingdomofchrissmith Thank you!

Wow. Yes, it's pretty amazing how life works sometimes. I remember a watch commercial, where a guy (with the competitor's watch) was one second off...and missed all these opportunities. It was a pretty good commercial for the time. That's why I say everything really comes down to luck. Some people are given the keys to things, whilst others are not. Tesla and Edison.

  • @TheFaustianMan Don't even get me started!!!

    Tesla FTW!!!
