Chinese with few thousands years of civilization is really very much different from others.
I've NEVER seen something performed similar to this from other nation. Obviously Chinese has been a peaceful people whereby other nations are always busy in nosing others internal affair and looking for excuses in fighting with another nations.
It sucks that there are no channels here in the U.S.A to show these things on tv live. It seems like america is a bit jealous or something and doesn't want it's people to see how beautiful China's performances are..
I am not gonna touch the human rights stuff but consider this...
If your ancestry is from Korea or whatever ethnic and you are born in or immigrated to Canada or US, do you still identify yourself a Korean or whatever your nationality is instead of Canadian or American?
If this is true then do all Caucasians should have to identify themselves Europeans in North A.?
By the way, there are a lot of Korean immigrants in China as well, so this dance can also represents them as a group in China.
i agree completly! if china were trying to "brainwash" them...i don't see a need for china to allow them to wear their ethnic clothing and dance in tianmen square.....This dance is simply to show respect to all the different minority groups in china, i think that's beautiful!
lol, Koreans, they claim everything is theirs, apparently Japanese sushi is actually Korean sushi, the Japanese song "Sakura" (which is a Japanese word) is actually a Korean song, East China sea is not China's but Korea's, the Japanese sea isn't Japan's but Korea's (but this one is debatable at least...the Japanese boarder drawing has some serious problems), Confucius was actually Korean, the Chinese race descended from the Koreans...when will it end?
