yea, this is the only thing that is stopping me from buying it. i actually called gopro 2 days ago and asked them about it. they told me that the engineers have heard that some people asked about it, but there hasn't been any official talk of implementing it. and i asked them to pass my feedback that i would only buy it if it got that feature.
@buckfush187 I wish it would do continuous overwrite. Maybe GoPro could add that as a new software feature?? I was just playing around to figure out how well it could function as a vehicle point of view video. Works pretty good, but I wouldn't leave it sitting on my dash permanently or it would get stolen :@
@zoranlovric Yes that is correct. I do have another video to post that shows the difference in field of view between the 1080 and 720 modes. I'll try to get it online soon :)

I assume this is reduced field of view of around 130 degrees since it was shot in 1080p?
