I think that area is actually called Platanakia. On Myspace look up the Samos Island Greece site. myspace - com - / samosgreece

Not in Ambelos or in Potami. It's on the way to Manolates. First small tourist cafe, then grossroads - small bridge and turn to the left. There is a path which goes up to the hill.

Where's the Valley of the Nightinggales? Nobody is sure because tourists made up that name...right? Ambelos? Manolates? Potami?
