I love the original 1987 TMNT, but this 2003 show is also great. This show is closer to the comics than the 1987 show. There's no Beepbob and Rocksteady and Technodrome and the theme in seasons 1-4 are more mature. Season 5 is great with the ninja tribunal, now I currently watching season 6, unfortunately the producers change the animation in this season and season 7, the last one of the show. And censorship about Michelangelo's nunchucks. This is not theme song of the show.

an 'abomination' that put Turtles on the map, without it where would have been nothing but the comic. witch may have been forgotten by now. the '87 show was to goofy at time just as the '03 was to serious at times, but both are good.

still just to call the '87 show an abomination goes to far, it did try to get out of the stupid limits that were placed on it (by the toy company, tv networks and even England!) and ill always have respect for that.

I find remakes disappointing because, animation improves, image quality and sound improve, but man....the scripts do not improve they become even more obvious and I feel like there is the same episodes for all the series with the same moral advise they always try to give with just different stories and characters, nothing original in this stuff they just try to sell the same car with new paint
