  • This baby does need to be rear facing!

My 27 month old toddler is rear facing and will be for some time - until she's 40lbs - which is the maximum her seat will go for RFing. Then I'll flip her seat around and keep her harnessed until 65lbs - and I'll also point out my 5y9m old & 4y7m old are still in a 5pt harnesses. Chest clip = arm pit level, NOT higher, NOT lower. You should NOT be able to pinch the straps together at shoulder or it's way too loose. Turn this baby in the video backwards.

  • Snapping the bottom first, tighten then do chest clip

  • your daughter is hawt!

  • I think everyone should know that if your "toddler" is less than 35 lbs she needs to be rear facing and if she is over 35 lbs then she needs to stay strapped and forward facing until she is 65 lbs! If rear facing the straps should be at or BELOW her shoulders and if forward facing the straps should be at or ABOVE her shoulders. Graco Nautilus carseats are for kids forward facing and goes up to 65lbs, then you can use it as a booster after that till they are 100lbs!

  • its the same for infants and toddlers for the chest clip that both have to be at arm pit level

  • Just an FYI, her harness is lose. And its hard to tell because of the lighting but if your child is forward facing her straps need to go on the next slot up, it needs to be above her shoulders. And the toys should be tied down somehow, they can become a projectile in a crash :)

  • That harness is way too loose!

  • Before putting your child in carseat, check that it is not hot, and the toys that are hard in your car could injure your child or you in an event of a crash.
