We reject Torture, Endless War, Endless Deficits, hate, and division. Savage is a part of the problem, not the solution, so maybe it would be best to reject him as well...

Well done. BUT..."Stand up for the children"??? That is what Obama does NOT do in regards to our youngest children, who will never benefit from positive change in health care, education, economics or foreign policy because he so strongly supports the legalization of their murder. Of course, I support the change that Obama recommends, but I cannot, in good conscience and good faith, vote for him when deaths by abortion far outnumber deaths by war, famine, or anything else.

Obama is much in favor of reducing abortion. Banning it won't stop it, but reducing poverty will greatly reduce the incidence. Banning it puts more mother's lives at risk as well as the fetus.

Furthermore, what does it say to ban abortion but then provide no support for the children. What does it say to ban abortion, but then to support the killing of people who are alive by the death penalty (which Obama, unfortunately, does support) and by war. It's quite contradictory.

The line is "Stand up for the children" not "stand up for the fetuses." Anyway, fetuses WILL benefit from a progressive social policy. Better health care and education will help reduce unwanted pregnancies, and will make it much easier for women who find themselves in that situation to "choose life." If you make your vote about a single issue, then you are totally missing the big picture. This election is way more important than any single issue.

I'm proud of my sister, Deb Harley, who had a vision to do this video to tell a short visual and audio story about how we can all "BE THE CHANGE we believe in" and we can begin that today - not just with the Obama/Biden ticket, but in all of our communication and support of each other, especially in this tough time. Thank you for helping us Be The Change. I posted a video response... which goes back 4 years ago to a video we created to help people focus on the issues of the election (during the Swift Boat era). It's unfortunate that some of the same issues remain unaddressed... and we now have more to worry about. It's obvious the current administration made no headway... and McCain would just be a continuation. WE NEED A CHANGE and I believe Barack Obama with Joe Biden can Be The Change we believe in!
