  • Oh thank you so much!!!! I feel so happy just like a kid again! This brought back so many fun memories for me from watching this in the early 80's growing up! I loved this show! Good for you for sharing this!!! Thanks!!!!!

  • Perhaps THE, I said THE #1 cartoon of my childhood....it does not and will not get ANY better than this...this was a AWESOME cartoon from start to finish..Battle Of The Planets. I'm 38, I remember telling my Mom and Dad to hurry back home when I was a kid so that I could come home and turn on the television to watch this show..MAN, today's generation DOES NOT & WILL NOT have any clue on just how great cartoons were back in the day...this one and Saturday morning cartoons were truly special!!!

  • during a time when you could imagine almost anything. love it.

  • "Sandy Frank! Sandy Frank! Thinks people come from trees..." -MsT3K song

  • Great posting! One of my childhood favor TV shows!

Very ironic! now I live in japan!.....Thanks!

  • This is going to be my new ring tone!

  • 1st movie ever featuring fiery pheonix rebirth. check.

    2. first movie ever featuring a girl hero. check. (granted, for the tine period.)

    3. first movie ever featuring color coded super hero team. check.

    4. if u didn't love japan .... toyota. check.

  • Oh man I so loved G-Force with Mark, Princess, Jason, Tiny, and Kyop and 7 Zark 7 and his robot dog 1 Rover 1. That G-Force theme song I so will never forget that and the cartoon series of Battle of the Planets. Oh Lord God I miss that show and the series had the perfect villian Zoltar and the Great Lumanus One and all the incompatent generals Zoltar had. G-Force always won the day however they have to make a concluding episode and finally reveal who Zoltar's real identity. Long Live G-Force

  • Just finished watching Starblazers then found this. I always called it G-Force I was so excited when I heard they were making a movie out of it. Gerbils wtf. Oh well thanks for posting it must be 30yrs since I watched these. Even to a jaded adult like me I got a swell of excitement in my chest when I heard the music begin. Thanks

  • i just want to see the pheonix almost destroyed, transformed into flames, and killing bird hatxhaman

  • even my 21 year old friend now realizes the significance of g force. first color team, first gestalt, first, REALISM in cartoons. we love you for this. and god bless prinicess for teaching girls they could kick ass in the 70's. time itself needed an aneathema to scooby doo.

  • The sequence starting at 1:01 to the end is just epic. The music. The way G-force used to quickly glide around. Purely epic.

  • @rantanamo oh my goodness, the whole theme is epic, as well as the show!!! This theme is so amazing, you couldn't help but to watch the credits. And the animation for the credits fits perfectly. Greatest cartoon ever, (although I like Star Blazers and Transformers too ;- )).

  • London Philarmonic Orchestra, is this them playing the wonderful theme.

  • One of my favorite cartoons when I was a kid. This brings back memories.

  • There was a slight different version of the closing sequence (that I know of): all the scenes appeared first, followed by the credits, ending with just the seahorse logo against the galactic background.

  • hope the new gatchaman film uses this music at somepoint it would be a nice nod to the cartoon series

  • As much as I love the nostalgia...did I detect a sour note or two? Or was it just me?

  • Best animation/cartoon when I was a kid. It was on at exactly 4 pm everyday after school, it sure brings back memories.

  • 0:10, colour fail...

The nose is supposed to be red instead of blue

But what I find weird, is that in the original Gatchaman, it had the same mistake....

  • i have the whole score somewhere on cd.

  • one of the things that got casey casum started.

  • Princess was hot.

  • I remember that when it come on WNEW-TV Channel 5 back in 1980 was Battle of the Planets when it come on every weekday morning at 7:00am!

  • Yeah my brother and used to watch it in the late 70's. It was great. I do not know if there was anything like it on TV then.

  • Love this song! Thanks for the post. It's straight out of my childhood. I appreciate hearing it without the announcer. Used to watch it back in 78.

  • Brought goosebumps to my skin a few weeks ago after not hearing it for years.. ;) I can't believe they replaced this theme in the 1986 re-dub.. ;)
