nice vid! just FYI - the 3rd pass wasn't "with afterburn" as Vulcans don't HAVE reheat (as it's called in England) - the pilot simply throttled-up to climb out of Wellesbourne - that howl is just what a Vulcan sounds like! brlliant - thanks!
It was about 2.30 p.m. for about 5-10 minutes, then it went off to the South. Can't imagine how much it must cost to keep these things in the air even for a short time.
I was at the Banbury Run,in the car park opposite the Gaydon centre and saw what I thought was a Vulcan flying overhead having just crossed the M40..must have been flying west I suppose. I drove past Wellesbourne at about 4pm and it was empty. When was it on, and was it a big crowd?
