Same way as a 6, just have double the strings. capo-ing the 12th fret will put less stress on the neck, though if you have one.

I think you should consider playing it in another key. Don't get me wrong- you sound great doing it, but you lose a lot of intensity when you drop the octave. I believe the strain in his voice when he sings is important to how he feels. My myself am definitely not a first tenor, and it's aggravating to not be able to sing along with anything. Just my 2 cents. Keep up all the videos.

You are definitely right, I sung it so low because my voice can't hit all the notes he does. I will try playing it with a capo on like the 4th fret and singing it higher and I'll see if it sounds good. If it does then I will record it and put it on youtube. Thanks for the suggestion! :D

Hey Lolottesmile, your english is fine. Yeah offspring is really hard to play, that guy has a super high voice so I had to sing it a lot lower to hit all of his notes.

The guitar was free actually, it was my dads, my mom got it for him in the 80's I believe for a few hundred bucks. It's a great guitar, really low action and stays in tune well.
