  • couldnt you put iron bars in place for the signs and half block so even the small ones will drown and then the slimeballs would fall through to a collection point

  • Awesome design but one idea is to have them flow to the center

  • how did you make that X-Ray Machine thing?

  • Nice design - U should add a squid killer too - My old slime machine used to get clogged by squid.

  • @monkeyfarm yeah you're right, I really should...just have to figure out how to add it without trapping tiny slimes in there too?

  • more simple, more efficient, more fast, just more more amazing !!

  • @sToFALARDEAU thanks! :)

  • o how are you gonna spawn slime whlie you are away

  • @supernixon55 ...wha?

  • thanx this design is the best and simplest thig ive seen so far, just what ive been looking for thanx!

  • Awesome stuff!! Much better than the canal drowner.

  • This is almost exactly the same as the drowner variation I've used in my final slime farm which was based on Roboticaust's original design. Thanks for sharing though.

I do like the fact that the slimes drop into the drowner, but my slime spawning pads are pretty much as high as I can make them, and there wouldn't be enough room to take the drowning shaft down low enough before you hit bedrock, I had to work around the bedrock with my drowner design.

  • @salgurdar if my calculation are good, you have your 2 depth channels, followed by a 4 depth hole for the drowner, wich in total is 6. Slime can spawn on max layer of 16, bedrock start at 5. so you can build this kind of drowner if your pads are at level 11-12-13-14-15-16, I thinks it is okay. I repeat, I am not sure if all those fact are true, but if they are not, they are really close

  • I like it. I think that will suit my slime farm perfectly.

Thank you for sharing that with us.

  • Well done sir. I like the way you think.

  • Do big slimes climb ladders?

  • @Radicaldanny not sure! But for the purpose of slimeball farming, you want to drown the slimes to the tiny size and then kill them.

  • This is pretty much the secret to every set up I've made. Was hoping to see something new :/

  • @roboticaust if I remember right, you're the Godfather of the original slime drowner...would be tough to design one without using the same basic principles. However there are a couple advantages to my design. First, it's vertical feeding so there's no clogging of slimes getting *into* the drowner. Second, the larger water channel for the tiny slimes eliminates any accidental drownings. It's 100% efficient and clog free! :)

  • @Generikb

Pretty sure my lp world uses the vertical feed and has for awhile now ;p Also uses a 2 wide channel for the small slimes. If you really want to nitpick, the use of the half-step makes it not 100% efficient since small slimes can technically drown at that height while standing on that block (which is why I use trapdoors). But yeah, was expecting you to one up me. I am disappoint!

  • @roboticaust next time I will! *shakes fist* ;-)

  • very nice

  • That is SICK! I hate making slime spawners because there were so many signs involved. This is a GREAT design. I will be using this.

  • You sir, are a genius. You say its very simple, and the best ideas always are, but it takes creative thinking to arrive at that simplicity. The half slab that puts the bigger slimes at the correct height is inspired. Really great job Gb.

  • @TheMindfiend thank you sir, I'm pretty proud of the design :)

  • tut on the xray machine plox

  • @taranp1995 do a YouTube search for Acatera's Xray Machine...as far as I know he's the originator of it

  • nice one G
