Once people decide they are on one side or another, it doesn't matter how rational your arguments are. So, the other side in this case has reasons to hate the OWS movement that have nothing to do with it. Like the fact they hate hippies, even though OWS are not hippies. They are from a broad spectrum of society and political affiliations. Most anti-OWS are not in the top 1%, and since they don't want to admit they are in agreement with OWS in some ways, they invent unreal points to make.

@annonymous2you How nice that you had a handout from your parents for school. Most of us aren't so fortunate, and THAT is one of the things this movement is trying to change. Not to get gov't handouts, but to get our high paying jobs back to this country. So that we can get back to work. By the way, I supported myself with low-paying jobs since I was 15, until the past 4 years I've been out of work.
What about all the other gov't services you're getting? Opposed to them too?

@london2z The people had no right to protest on that privately owned parts of property, they were trashing the place, things were being broken, police were violently touched and therefore they arrested some students, then the rest of the crowd got mad and surrounded the police, direct quote from the mob that circled the police and didnt allow them to leave "Allow our friends to go free, and we will continue to protest peacefully". They threatened police to not do their job. Illegal as all hell.
