Everybody in Denmark heard it too.But no news or radio has said anything,I guess they dont wanna tell the people that a meteor has hit the earth.Everybody in my school are talking about this weird phenomenon cuz the whole sky turned black then white then this meteor comes falling trough the sky and then you can heard explosions coming from the meteor every millisecond.They scientist said that a meteor would hit the earth between year 2008 and 2009.

A meteor just hit the earth today!!I'm from Sweden/Malmö and I was sleeping and my alarm went off and it was 06:58 in the morning and all of a sudden the whole sky turns black and all electricity went dead.And after 3-5 sec the whole sky turn white and there was this bright thing with a green ball in the middle flying trough the sky.And when the meteor when by you could hear explosions going every millisecond,like ''bom bom bom bom bom'' and the impact was even louder.

I was outside a few weeks ago when the moon was dark again. The comet had weakened in intensity and brightness. I looked up at Cassiopia maybe 5 degrees away from Holmes and saw another bright cloud like thing. Took the binos and scope out to see what I later found out to be a fuel dump of an Atlas rocket! What excellent timing! It was awesome. I watched it burn for about an hour.

It's not heading straight at us. The only reason it doesn't have a tail is because it exploded. Ice turing to vapor in a fraction of a second from the heat of the sun.

the tail of a comet is not always behind its direction of motion as the sun makes the tail go away from the sun even if the comet is moving the other way it doesnt mean it is coming straight at us

normally a large ball of ice and other particulates. they have an orbit that normally whips them far into space, and so they dont make there way back into visable range for decades.
