How are you not drawing agro (sorry I play a lot of MMORPG's) when you shoot the gun....mostly everytime I shoot a few come running. This walkthrough is one helluva lot faster than I did it...of course I have to kill everyone.
just incase you actually get this and still want to play it, download utorrent, torrent the game, and then try it. if it still dosent work, right click the game, click properties, look for "compatability" run in compatability for 95/98, but it should work on XP given i'm running vista [ :( ] and it works fine... damn vista....

The first commandos is the best of all.Harder and most detailed graphics.
